Vitrify has released a standalone semen analysis module for its IVF clinic management platform. Clinics can now offer a semen analysis to a walk-in patient without putting them through a full IVF cycle.
The sample is analysed directly with no wash step and produces a printable report referenced to the WHO 2021 criteria. The DNA fragmentation report is available in both the embryology lab and the new module. It reuses the clinic's existing billing.
The change answers a common clinic request. Many fertility centres see walk-in patients who need a quick andrology test. Until now that work sat outside the main system.
